This package enables Electronic communication with the government gateway for customers in Great Britain from SAP HANA Cloud Integration. Employers based in Great Britain (including GB subsidiaries of overseas organizations) must operate Pay As You Earn (PAYE) as part of their payroll. PAYE is the Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) system for collecting income tax and national insurance from employers. Every employer that uses its own payroll software rather than HMRC’s system must electronically report the employees’ payments and deductions to HMRC on or before each payday, in real time, for each payroll run.
